With so much uncertainty in the world today as a result of COVID-19, and the way things keep changing every day, HAIX® has been closely monitoring directives from local, state and federal governmental entities and public health officials in order to adapt our daily operations and how we do business. As a manufacturer/distributor of personal protective footwear to law enforcement, public safety personnel, and first responders, HAIX® falls under the Department of Homeland Security definition of essential critical infrastructure workforce.
As such, it is HAIX’s commitment to you, that we will continue to focus on serving the needs of our customers, many of whom are first responders in the Fire, EMS, and Law Enforcement arenas who perform their duties on the front lines. Our dedicated employees will remain on the job to ensure that we continue to deliver protective equipment to first responders out in the field. Our goal is to provide for the continuity of essential goods to the public safety sector.
Safety is our #1 priority, so rest assured that we will follow the guidelines set by the CDC and local health officials to protect our employees to the greatest degree possible. We take extra precautions to clean and disinfect our facility and practice social distancing within the office. Our storefront at the corporate office is currently closed to visitor traffic.
