I work as an elevator mechanic and spend long hours on my feet. I have always worn the full US made Red Wing boots, which are typically tight at the steel toe and don't have very good arch s… I work as an elevator mechanic and spend long hours on my feet. I have always worn the full US made Red Wing boots, which are typically tight at the steel toe and don't have very good arch support. Since my feet have been hurting lately, I decided to try these Haix boots. I've been wearing these for a couple of months now, and can't believe how comfortable they are. They cradle my heel and have terrific arch support. The composite toe cap is very roomy. I plan to get a larger pair for next winter so that I can wear thicker socks.

Great Boots

I have had these boots for 2 weeks and I'm so glad for my weekend so I can get a break from wearing them. There is a lot to love about these boots, they are very supportive and I spend all day on my feet. The composite toe is very light weight and much needed for the amount of walking I do. Unfortunately the composite toe box is pressing so much on my right foot I have a bruise across the top of foot. The left boot fits so well I can only wonder if the factory second is due to a manufacturing defect. I'll keep trying to break this boot in and hope that the pain and bruising will go away.

I own both styles safety and non, both are excellent boots, only drawback is the insole on the safety is not nearly as soft as the non safety style. I recommend buying 2-3 pairs of the non safety insoles upon purchase. I did so on my last trip to the factory- the staff was tremendous in helping me. I Will never wear any other safety shoe.
