Great boots
I recently bought a pair of these boots and man these are the best and lightest fire boots I have ever worn... right out of the box I wasn't sure if I was going to like the arch that is in… I recently bought a pair of these boots and man these are the best and lightest fire boots I have ever worn... right out of the box I wasn't sure if I was going to like the arch that is in the boots but after using them on a couple of structure fires the arch feels amazing The quality of the boots speak for themselves and the customer service department at Haix is second to none

Great boots
When the boots came in, they were very tight. Uncomfortably so. It took a few shifts to wear them in. Since then, they have been the most comfortable bunker boots I've ever worn. Exactly what I expected.
As instructed (by the excellent staff at Haix) I ordered a half size smaller than my usual athletic shoe size and straight out of the box the fit was perfect. The high quality is obvious and after a day or two of wear I forgot about my feet, which is exactly what I want when I am focussed on fire and rescue work. They may be expensive but they are superb and I would highly recommend.

First pair of Haix firefighting boots, the pricing always guided me to look for something else and cheaper. What a mistake. I have worn several styles of leather pull on boots, but so far, these are the best and well worth the cost.

My feet feel so much better
I moved to a significantly busier house a few months ago and it got to the point where my ill-fitting department issued rubbers were leaving my feet bleeding in multiple places after busy shifts. I’ve got narrow feet but with a very high arch so I was wary of getting narrow fit leathers since I read they fit tight across the top of the foot and I’ve had issues with that before. Ended up going a half size up to a 10M and sure enough they were tight across the top of my foot but my heels were still slipping. Rather than spend the money on shipping and switching back to my rubbers and inevitably destroying my feet while waiting for a narrower size to become available just to ship and try on, I took the insoles out of an old pair of EMS boots and put them in my new Eagle Airs. They’re still just a little tight across the top but the difference is night and day. Everyone says Haix need broken in but after only wearing them for 3 shifts they’re already feeling like tennis shoes. Our last call yesterday was a solid fire and all I could think about while doing a search, overhaul, and then clean-up was how incredibly comfortable my feet were. I wish sizing were less of a headache but can’t really fault Haix for that. These boots are incredible and I’m just upset I didn’t get them sooner.

New Boots
After owning my previous Haix firefighting boots for 13 years, it was time to order a new pair. The old pair had seen more excitement than a 12 year old full of candy. Like an old friend, the old boots had been with me for so long it was a comfort to have them with me where ever I went. Few firefighting boots feel like you’re slipping into a pair of well used and well loved slippers. The old Haix were exactly that. While tragic and heartbreaking to move in from them, it clearly was time for a new pair to take the place of the old. As I bid Verabschiedung to the old pair with a small tear in my eye, the new pair seem ready and willing to take up the mantle that the old pair had. I can only hope that I get as much use, as much happiness and as few blisters on my feet from these new boots as I did the old ones. As always, Haix makes a product that isn’t just equipment, it’s so comfortable and well made you can’t help but anthropomorphize them into a loyal friend.
Very nice boot
Just got the boots about a week ago and really like them so far. I was a little nervous ordering this expensive of a boot on line but their online sizing chart and explanation worked out great

Great Boot
These boots are very well made and feel good on my feet as compared to another leather boot and the rubber boots I’ve worn. Put them in service about 2 weeks ago and had a couple fires. They performed well. I got some paint on them during a fire and with a little effort the paint came off. I was relieved! The only complaint; there is a bit of material above my toes that had a crease which rubs on the tops of my toes. Not bad enough to send back but I do notice it. Maybe it will work it’s way out after use.

These are by far the most comfortable boots I have, they fit perfectly an have great support. I will be recommending haix boots to everyone I know and I will only buy them

I am blown away by these boots
The Eagle Airs are breaking in nicely, and the XR2 - it’s hard to believe these aren’t athletic shoes they’re so comfortable. I’m elated with my switch to Haix.

Amazing Boots!!
I was very excited to receive my HAIX Fire Eagle size 14 Medium in the mail. I was a little concerned they may be a little snug on the width but after wearing them once they fit perfectly!!! I'm 6'6" and weigh 300lbs and the boots provided all the support I need. They are extremely light as well. I have and will recommend HAIX boots.

Great boot I could of gone to a 10 1/2 but it fine with time they’ll fit just right. The boot features are awesome. Can’t wait to put them to work

Great boot
This is one of the most comfortable straight out of the box boots I have ever wore. The only reason its not a 10 is because they rub slightly on the front shin. I think that Will get better with use. Over all its a great boot and I will purchase more in the future!
