HAIX Protector Prime Black Logger Boots
Working with a chainsaw is a dangerous activity, and if you make a living working with a chainsaw, safety is paramount. You need footwear that not only offers you cut protection, but will keep you steady on your feet on sometimes uncertain terrain. You need a boot you can rely on day in and day out.
Protective and Comfortable
HAIX Protector Prime Black logger boots are those rare boots that achieves the perfect balance between protection and comfort. For you diehard traditionalists, the all black sueded leather offers a more toned down look, with the orange running along the sole offering more visibility. In addition, we all know that sometimes the more protective the boot, the more uncomfortable the wear can be. The HAIX Protector Prime Black logger boots offer you both with European Class 2 (24m/s) cut protection and all day wearing comfort, making these HAIX chainsaw boots the top choice in the arborist field. The steel protective toe cap prevents injury from toe impact with its compression resistance technology.
Waterproof and Breathable Leather and HAIX® Climate System
European craftsmanship is evident once you see the HAIX Protector Prime Black logger boots in person. The upper material is made of waterproof and breathable velour leather with minimal seaming to increase durability. It is built with a climate system to keep your feet at a comfortable temperature. It ensures that your shoes are well-insulated with a balanced temperature no matter what the conditions indoors or outdoors. You want your feet warmer in cooler temperatures and cooler in warmer temperatures. The vent holes at the top of the boot makes it all possible by circulating moist air out and fresh air in. That’s the primary foundation of our Climate System.
Two Zone Lacing
The two zone lacing of these black logger boots allows you to adjust the boot to your personal liking allowing you to achieve the ankle support needed to perform the job efficiently. The HAIX Protector Prime Black logger boots make it easier to focus on forestry work as the two zone lacing can tighten certain spots separately, keep those areas snug, and prevent spread out even after hours of tension.
Vibram® Soles and Secura Liner® and GORE-TEX® Protected
If you are out in the woods, the sturdy Protector Prime Black offers unbeatable ankle protection and support; so important in preventing ankle injuries. And the Vibram® hiking outsole provides extra grip and slip resistance on even the toughest terrain.
The inner liner and the upper leather is secured beneath the outsole is with our Secura Liner® system. You can rest assured that the inner lining of your Protector Prime Black will never wrinkle or pull out.
The HAIX Protector Prime Black logger boots are protected by a GORE-TEX® moisture barrier which is a waterproof, and breathable, fabric designed to repel water from entering your boots but still allows water vapor to escape. These HAIX chainsaw boots should be at the top of your wish list.

Purchased for Son
Purchased this style boot for my Son who works as a logger. He states the boots are comfortable to wear and work well for his line of work. The one complaint he has is that the back of the boots above the sole has worn out and is leaking. True to fit.
We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback on the Protector Prime Black. We are happy to hear that your son finds the boots be be comfortable and have served him well as a logger. We apologize that he has had an issue with the boot wearing out and leaking. Someone from our Customer Service Dept. has been in touch with you and I am confident we have found an acceptable solution to the problem. We hope this will not deter you or your son from considering HAIX again in the future.
I needed a steel toe boat for work around my property and for protection while using a chain saw. Also wanted a boot that would double for recreation time in the woods. After researching various boots on the web I decided on these and am not disappointed. They were comfortable right out of the box. The fit is great and the support they offer is great. I like the soles and the lacing system. Dry as a cork when walking through water. I also liked the price. I would definitely recommend your product to others. The ordering process was easy and shipping was fast. Thanks for a great boot!
Got these on sale and they are a great boot for the price. I've been using them to saw logs and split firewood for a few months now. They are comfortable enough and built like a tank. No doubt these will last me several seasons. I have no fear for my toes from falling wood, and it's really nice to have the peace of mind of the cut protection. I love the lace locks that let me cinch the lower half of the laces, lock it off, then tie the upper half. I only wear them for a few hours at a time so can't speak to all day comfort.
Great boots for climbing arborists
Spent about two months looking for the right pair of boots for my needs, and ultimately these won out. Have tried Keen and Red Wing in the past, but was disappointed in their durability. For work, I climb trees every day. I also use a chainsaw while climbing and on the ground. These boots are perfect for both. They are insanely comfortable walking around doing groundwork. More importantly, these soles are the best I've found for climbing-- super grippy, not too wide or bulky, and durable. Haven't tested chainsaw protective features, and hope I never will.. but it's nice to have a little extra piece of mind. Recommend these to anyone who has similar requirements.
Over all good boot
Every thing about these boots are great but the soles need to be a little more aggressive for mud and wet brush . Feet stays dry and warm in cold winter weather best boot I bought in long time been in Logging industry for 25 years and counting.
We appreciate you taking the time to review the Protector Prime Black. We are happy to hear that these are the best boots that you have bought in a long time, especially being in the logging industry for as long as you have. We are glad that your feet have stayed warm and dry in the cold winter months. Thank you for your feedback on the sole gripping for mud and wet brush. I will pass along your comments to upper management for consideration. We hope these boots continue to serve you well. Stay safe out there!
Best boots ever !!!!
I’ve been doing tree work since 1991 I’ve tried hundreds of pairs of boots and this pair of boots is hands-down the best pair of boots have ever worn. Very supportive very sturdy very waterproof and very tough. I’m buying another pair because they look awesome also so I will have a work there and a pair to go out in. Excellent performance sports. I highly recommend these boots to everyone.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with the Protector Prime Black. We are so happy that these are the best boots you have ever owned in your years doing tree work. It's great to hear that they are tough, supportive and that the waterproof capabilities are holding up well. We are so glad that you like them so much you are going to buy another pair. We appreciate your recommendation and your loyalty to the HAIX brand.
Great forestry boot!
I have been able to put these boots through many weekends of tree felling this winter and have been very happy! They are quite comfortable directly out of the box and improve with use. The 2 zone lacing snugs the boot well and adds to the secure fit. The protection is substantial but the boots do not feel heavy. The integral tongue adds to the secure feeling and keeps saw dust and debris from entering the boot. I have used them in deep and often very wet snow and the boots stay dry. I was initially concerned about the nubuck leather, but it has shown to wear well and clean up very easy once dry with a light brushing. I am very happy with these and I am certain they will last a long time!
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on the Protector Prime Black. We are happy to hear that you have found the boots to be comfortable and sturdy on the job. We hope they continue to serve you well. Stay safe out there! We appreciate your service.
An impressive boot
All in All I have been really happy with this boot. I have been in the Tree Service industry for 15+ years and know the value of a great boot. It's comfortable for all day wear, Great ankle support for moving across uneven ground and across logs, Sole is very tacky giving a great grip on rock, and the boot has excellent padding. I've had logs roll on my toes and also against the side of my ankles and these boots give great protection. The leather on these boots have help up great. With a little cleaning they would look good as new. The only con is I wish it had a more aggressive sole with deeper lugs and the spikes like on the Protector Extreme. The deeper lugs would help a lot with soft earth and mud and with longevity giving me a little more time before having to have these re-soled. With the sole being so soft I have gotten about a year or so out of them and it's about time to have the sole redone. In the end I am pleased with the boots and would and have recommended them to others. (Edited)
Thanks for the great feedback John!
