Lightweight GORE-TEX EXTRAGUARD Uppers
Rescue Xtreme's GORE-TEX EXTRAGUARD upper looks and feels like leather but offers more benefits to hazmat protection: it’s 40% lighter, absorbs less water, and dries faster than full-grain leather. Because of their low water absorption, these uppers stay lightweight even when worn in extreme wet environments all day long.

The Rescue Xtreme features a comfort-composite toe cap to protect against impacts and cuts. The stainless-steel puncture plate embedded in the sole offers your foot the highest level of protection from sharp objects. The durable EXTRAGUARD upper offers additional protection from cuts, impacts, and flame exposure.

Lightweight EMS Boots
At 40% lighter than full grain leather, EXTRAGUARD keeps the Rescue Xtreme boot feeling lightweight and agile. The upper is water resistant which keeps your boots lightweight even when working in wet environments.
Easy to Clean, Easy to Maintain
You can clean your boots and laces by running them under warm water, hosing them off, or softly brushing them with PureGreen24 and warm water. There's no need to polish your Rescue Extreme boots, as they maintain their color and shape even after months of wear.
Cushioned Comfort with HAIX insole
HAIX insoles provide cushioned comfort while wicking away moisture to keep your feet dry. The machine-washable insoles are also replaceable, making it easy to refresh your boots as needed.The hard facts

The Rescue Xtreme has a carbon composite toe cap which exceeds NFPA and ASTM testing requirements.
With the CROSSTECH inner liner, the Rescue Xtreme does offer protection from liquids, chemicals, and bloodborne pathogens. The boots are tested and certified according to NFPA 1999 standards for biopenetration.
Your Rescue Xtreme is NFPA certified by UL to NFPA 1999 for emergency medical operations, and NFPA 1990 (1994 class 1). Fore Chem bio, Rescue Xtreme is certified to be worn in conjunction with a multi-threat ensemble which is also certified to NFPA 1990 (1994).
Because of its low moisture absorption, Rescue Xtreme can be cleaned with warm water, either by running under a tap, rinsing with a hose, or with a soft brush. EXTRAGUARD does not need any treatment with polish products.
The uniquely designed rubber nitrile sole has a stable non-slipping sole edge for use on uneven terrain. The honeycomb tread pattern offers excellent traction on even slick and wet surfaces.
