Regardless of the surface, the soles on these boots are crazy quiet.... creepy quiet. As a young patrolman, I would have loved to have had such a sneaky asset by which to perform my patrol duties. HAIX makes a great boot.

Couldn't be more pleased
I got these boots after reaching out to officers in some LEO communities I'm a part of. Everyone talked about how light, comfortable, and durable these boots were. I've had my Black Eagle T… I got these boots after reaching out to officers in some LEO communities I'm a part of. Everyone talked about how light, comfortable, and durable these boots were. I've had my Black Eagle Tac. 2.0's for a little under a month now. I got the wrong size the first time, customer service was very helpful with this and I got the right size within a few days. First impressions when I first wore them for work was that they were extremely comfortable and light. I work in corrections for 12hr days and run to a lot of codes. When I first ran in these boots, I was shocked at how much they feel like tennis shoes. My mobility, agility, and speed were not inhibited in anyway unlike how most side zip boots have been in the past. There was really no break in period either. I also went through SWAT tryouts with these boots and never noticed them nor did I have any fatigue caused by boots nor foot pain due to discomfort or wrong sizing. The boots made it through a bunch of obstacles and rough terrain that day and only needed to be wiped down and polished to look brand new. So far, the durability is also on par for what I had heard. I can't wait to see how well they hold up long term. I will definitely buy this boot again, if I ever have to get a new pair. I rated them as a 9/10 only because my time with them has only been roughly a month. If I remember at the 1yr or 2yr mark, I'll add another review.

Always Skeptical

Having said all that, I really like these Black Eagle Tactical 2.0 GTX's. Right out of the box they are comfortable. They seem durable. I have a talent for being very hard on my footwear due to my job. With 20,000 to 25,000 steps a day at minimum not to mention the stress I put on them doing what I do. So far, they are holding up well and look great. If I had any complaint and I really don't, more of a preference, The inner sole could be a bit thicker. This is easily remedied by purchasing additional footbeds if need be. So far, I'm impressed. As are my coworkers.

The best pair of work boots
This is my 2nd pair of Haix boots I own and I must say they are best work boots I’ve ever owned. They are so well made , so comfortable that I actually ran a few miles wearing them in full gear at the recent Chicago Bank of America Marathon without any issues. I just love these boots!! Highly recommend them.

Excellent Duty Boots
This is my third pair of these same model of boots and I think they are excellent boots that hold up well and are very comfortable.I wore my first pair of boots every day I was in uniform. I will say that I had to buy a size larger and a size wider than I wore in these boots i purchased over 4 years ago. I bought a pair over two years ago, yet never wore them as my first pair were so good, that when I exchanged for my older boots. I found them to be too narrow.. Luckily they fit one of my officers. HAIX does explains the sizing issue when purchasing and makes them easy to return, and exchange. I highly recommend these boots.

Great boots
I have been wearing Hiax boots for years. I have always been satisfied with them. This is the first time I bought this particular boot and I think they are doing great so far. They are comfortable, and lightweight. I would recommend them.

Too nartow
Very narrow. Hurt my feet. I’m trying to wear them but finding it hard to ignore the pain by days end. I wish I would have gotten the wide. My feet are somewhat narrow. I’ve never had and issue with medium width.

Jus what I wanted
I already own the AirPower P7 high for extreme cold weather and the Black Eagle Athletic 2.1 T low for summer but wanted something for the rest of the year. The Black Eagle Tactical 2.0 GTX mid side zip are perfect. True to my other Haix sizes and comfortable right out of the box. The 6 inch mid height is great. One shift of waking 3-4 miles and they’re pretty much broken in. Super comfortable and Haix craftsmanship does not disappoint. Highly recommend.

Nice boot
Nice boot. Once you get passed the break in period, they are very comfortable for long hours. The width is nice & the heel cup is not overly tight. Definitely feel secure with no slippage. Laces could be a tad longer to help secure the boot correctly but overall, it's a nice boot.
