We’re these supposed to be factory seconds?! Because they’re amazing!!! The break in was extremely short! (Two days maybe?) They’re re the most comfortable boots ever! My Favorite Boots!!
I bought these for my son for his birthday. These were his second pair of haix factory seconds. The first pair lasted him 5 years of frequent wear and only got messed up from working on a farm - these are definitely not farm use boots but they are everything else use boots. I have worn them for EMS work for about 10 years and I can tell you that they're the most comfortable, form fitting ankle supporting boot I've ever worn. My adult son feels the same way. He also said that he got several compliments on the appearance of the boots. These boots don't even have a break in period. They are comfortable from day one. They require occasional tightening of the laces to stay supportive but they are otherwise maintenance free. We also love the fact that they stay water proof forever and I stand in 6 inches of water sometimes. I had one pair for work that the sole separated in just a few months so we sent them back and got a new pair for free and never had another issue. I'm rough so I always buy the style with the toe cap. Haix is the best bang for your buck hands down!!!!

Impressive Boots!
I was excited to order and receive my new R2 boots. I received them in just three days and started to wear them right out of the box. I work 24 on 48 hours off as a Captain for a very busy Fire Dept. After just two shifts they were fully broke in! I'm very happy with the boots. They are true to size and I would recommend them to any of my firefighters.

Good Fit
This is the second pair I purchased. It was tight and took about a week to fully adjust as I also have a larger than normal insole. They were initially had a leather click / squeak that went away after some time of wearing them. My first pair was size 13 wore them a long time. Then the local FD purchased ones and did have a fit test boot that brought the size to 12 which is my normal. I would purchase them again. Quick on and snug fit without foot problems.

Ken, you wrote a negative review of a boot that YOU knowingly ordered in the incorrect size? Haix boots are stellar and a negative review based on a mistake you made is not a valid review. I have two pairs of Factory Seconds boots from Haix and I have yet to find any defects. Try your actual size next time. Cry baby.

Wasn't the right fit
I ordered these boots 1/2 size larger than I usually wear because they were the only size available. Unfortunately they were not the right fit and caused chaffing on my heels after a few minutes of initially wearing them. Haix was very easy to work with making a return and getting a quick refund. I would do businesses with them again but only when they have my boot in the proper size.
