Amazingly comfortable and outstanding quality
This is my first pair of Haix boots. I bought a pair of "factory seconds" Airpower XR1 Pro, but for the life of me... can't find a single flaw in these boots! Not even a tiny scuff on the lea… This is my first pair of Haix boots. I bought a pair of "factory seconds" Airpower XR1 Pro, but for the life of me... can't find a single flaw in these boots! Not even a tiny scuff on the leather or the sole; nothing. Adjusting the zipper closure took a couple of tries but once I got that dialed in, it's easy in/out every single time. After using that feature, I will never go back to not zipper boots. Break-in period? what's that?? Super comfortable, with no hot spots, padding or anything from day zero. I tried them at home for a few days just to be sure, but had absolutely no issues, and wearing them on shifts now. All day on my feet and running around (EMS) and they're superb. A really cool feature is that I work in warm climates and my old pair of boots did feel hot after a while, especially out on the street. Not so with these Airpowers; not sure how they do it, but they almost feel like wearing sneakers or light-weight hiking shoes; they're simply that comfortable.I may have gone a bit overkill getting a quad-certified boot for every day ambulance work but I love the added safety features that they offer; plus I get to use them while doing USAR work, so don't need another pair of boots just for that. Couldn't be happier!!
