Embossed area puts pressure on Tailor's bunion
I bought these because they have a nice wide toe bed because I have a bunion on the outside of my foot. The bunion never causes me problems except when I wear boots with rivets or seams that… I bought these because they have a nice wide toe bed because I have a bunion on the outside of my foot. The bunion never causes me problems except when I wear boots with rivets or seams that line up with the bunion. Unfortunately, the X embossed area rubs right on that point and causes pain after extended wear. I was hesitant to order wide because I have a narrow heel. I ordered some boot stretch oil and a spreader, hopefully this will fix the problem. On the plus side, these boots have great soles and I like the way the heel rocks back. I always wear the back of my heels down, but I won't on these.

Th… The Black Eagle Safety 55 is an amazing shoe! It has been well constructed to give the responder the grip and dexterity required to provide quality patient care in a variety of settings. The shoe is extremely comfortable and durable with washable insoles which is a HUGE plus! Going a full shift in this shoe is no problem at all. In fact, I have had some days where I wore it as a non-shift shoe walking through a busy everyday with no complaints. The customer service during the purchase was exceptional, and they correctly pointed out that ordering a 1/2 size up from my normal shoe would be advisable. I was glad I asked! When I pulled out the insole to check my fit - the toe hit right at the correct size indicator. Haix is working hard to make quality products that last, which is important when you are laying down real money. The right shoe isn't a purchase - it's an INVESTMENT, and putting your money into a Haix product is always a safe bet.

I love these boots. I wear a women’s size 9.5-10 in a shoe, and the men’s 8 worked just fine. I’m on my third shift in them and they’ve broken in nicely (felt a bit stiff at first). Love the side zip feature-makes it super quick when we get calls in the middle of the night. For as durable as they seem, they’re fairly lightweight. They have good grip and while I wouldn’t mind a bit cooler boot, my feet aren’t drenched when I take them off. I’ve already recommended to my brother who also works HEMS.

Excellent boots, very comfortable with minimum break in time. Side zipper works better than other side zip 6” boots I’ve worn on the past too.

High quality boots
I'm a gasoline driver, I never thought I'd find better boots than Red wing's and Timberland's, these Haix boots take me to another level of comfort that I never experienced before. The soles, the materials, everything is the best about these boots. I love them. Definitely I'll buy again.

Quality, is the best of any boot that I have owned. Only, con is the heel. There, is hardly any give. Even, with gel insoles. But, I still love them.
