Why choose to refurbish your HAIX® boots?

How does the Refurbish Program work?

  1. Go to the Authorized repair center NuShoe.
  2. Click on the "Order Now" option of your choice.
  3. Complete the order form and submit.
  4. Print out the FedEx shipping label and a copy of the order (keep a copy of the order for yourself).
  5. Box up your boots for shipping and be sure to include a copy of the order in the box
  6. Add the FedEx label and drop it at any FedEx location.

FAQs



Generally, it takes 4-6 weeks, which includes shipping to and from the repair center.



It makes your comfortable worn in boots that fit to your foot shape almost like new so you can get some additional life out of them, and it keeps them out of the landfill.



Boots must maintain a certain level of condition in order to be eligible for the Refurbish Program at NuShoe. Instances where they would not be eligible for this program include but are not limited to:

  • Sole separation
  • Delamination
  • Holes in any portion of the boots
  • Cracked soles
  • Tread worn down smooth in large areas

If your boots have any of the above issues, they may not be able to be retreaded. We recommend that you check with NuShoe for any questions regarding your footwear and this program. Please note that properly maintaining your HAIX® leather with regular cleaning and polishing will keep your HAIX boots in the best condition and extend their useful life even more.



While we are able to replace the exterior rubber toe cap, we are not able to replace interior safety toe caps.



We are only able to repair broken stitching, we are not able to repair leather that is torn or cracked.



We are not able to retread boot models with Vibram soles or some of the older Black Eagle models. We also cannot retread soles that have little to no tread left. Please check with HAIX® Customer Service at service-hna@haix.com for more information.

HAIX® Warranty

HAIX® offers a One-Year Limited Warranty on all HAIX® footwear. HAIX® reserves the right to inspect any shoe for determination of a no cost repair or replacement. If you should experience any defects in material or workmanship, simply return the product to the retailer where purchased to receive a postage-paid mailing kit to return your shoes to HAIX® for inspection. After inspection, you may be contracted with payment options if your footwear is not covered under the Limited Warranty.

HAIX® warrants only that the Products shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year after the date of delivery, unless otherwise agreed to in writing. This warranty shall not apply to any of the following: (a) Products that have been repaired or altered by anyone other than HAIX®; or (b) Products that have been improperly used or maintained, or that have subjected to abnormal conditions of use or maintenance not in conformity with HAIX® written instructions concerning use and mainteneance.

No claims for warranty will be processed if received after the warranty period.
