Will not disappoint!

In all honesty, upon opening the box and pulling the boots out, I cringed a bit. They certainly do have some weight to them, and did have a rather stiff feel. I thought I may need to buy some… In all honesty, upon opening the box and pulling the boots out, I cringed a bit. They certainly do have some weight to them, and did have a rather stiff feel. I thought I may need to buy some ankle weights and get my legs in better shape. Then I popped them on, did some basic errands for a couple hours and they felt much more manageable. Did the same a couple days later, and then again. Then had the better part of a workday cutting firewood lengths from logs, and these boots were just so darned comfortable. They breathe very well, respond to foot and ankle motion excellently, and the heaviness that nearly had me buying ankle weights initially, wasn't even noticed 8-9 hours later. And then the added benefit of knowing that my feet and toes are chainsaw protected should 'poop occur' as sometimes life doesn't play nice and throws you a bad curve. Since it's not daily that I require chainsaw protection, but I do like the boot a lot, I ordered a pair of Haix Airpower XR26 which I just received.

Airpower XR200
Good overall boot which broke in fairly quickly. lighter weight and slightly cooler than the Protector line with less ankle support. The sole appears to be wearing slightly better than the Protector sole but at the expense of less traction. Prefer the lacing system of the Protector line. If the Protector line was available in a composite toe, it would be my hands down favorite.

Ordered these boots about a month ago and I have been nothing but impressed with them. I work on concrete eleven hours a day and with boots from other makers my feet were so sore I couldn’t wait to get off them at the end of the day, not so with these. The arch support is the best I’ve seen for a while, also the toe caps are holding up well to being rubbed against concrete and steel.

These boots are easy to put on and very comfortable. I've used them in the snow and freezing rain and they keep my feet warm and dry. I would highly recommend them for comfort and safety.

Wonderful Boots
I’ve been wearing these boots for ten years or more, where I am a full time railroader and a part time firewood cutter. They hold up extremely well and I find that I only seem to go through insoles, which can easily be replaced. I also find the break in period is a bit long and tuff on my feet but, I like to wear them for a few hours and then change back to my old ones until I get them broke in. They are a fantastic boot once they’re broke in and I have three pair of them because of the reimbursement program I have through my employer. All in all, I completely recommend these boots to anyone. Thanks

Quality Boots
When I first received the AirPower XR200 boots, I was impressed with the craftsmanship of their construction and all the aspects I was looking for in a safety boot. I knew these were going to be the boots I needed for my disaster relief efforts with my team, from chainsawing, debris removal, to construction, etc. The set back was when I tried them on. They were stiff and unforgiving on my feet. My feet are small and narrow, so I’m sure it had something to do with that. I wasn’t sure about keeping them, but decided to wear them in the house. I also contacted Haix about the insoles and how they felt to my feet; they were very accommodating with helping in the fit. After several days of breaking them in and them forming to my feet, I am happy with my investment. They are now my go-to boot for cutting wood and any outdoor chore-related activities at home, and know, when I’m called to a disaster area, I will have confidence in the quality and safety these boots will provide me. Too small
I think these boots would have been fine if they were larger. I bought wide boots but they were still too small for me. I wore then for 3 days and didn't want to wear them anymore. They don't stretch much. This isn't a bad review on the boot, just for me, they were smaller than what I need.

Great Boot
Boot Arrived quickly, within one week of ordering! Nice going! Require sawyer boot to volunteer on trail construction and corridor clearance/maintenance in/on Federal and State land. The boot does have a WIDE size and my foot is difficult to size after a workplace crush accident, this boot is COMFORTABLE on my feet. Built unlike a hiking boot, it is a bit high for my personal taste, the height does NOT come with added weight - for the most part - these things feel like hikers! I have only worn them in the cold months, Usually that layer of Aramid (aka; kevlar) used to slow a saws bite - act like insulation. The summer storm/disaster months will tell if these guys are any better than those super hot/sweaty rubber sawyer boots. I also wear my MICROSPIKES with these guys. No slipping and sliding for this fellow.

versatile boot
I haven't actually had the chance to use these yet but I am looking forward to it. I do volunteer trail work and was looking for a boot that would be comfortable to walk long distances in and be safe for chainsaw use. These seem to be the ticket. The quality and comfort are very good. I am a female and wear a size 8.5. I ended up with size 6. Customer service was excellent in terms of my return and reissuing a coupon code.

Longest lasting and best quality boots EVER
For construction these are the best boots I've ever owned and will buy them again. I have worn multiple Timberland, Danner, and other brands too crappy to remember; these are far superior. Boots usually last me one year, buy them in winter and they don't survive to the next. These boots made it through 2 winters and I still don't need a new pair. I maintain them with the Haix silicone conditioner. They are good in all temperatures in New England. Compared to how tough they are, they are extremely light. Possibly the lightest boot I've ever had which is critical on uneaven terrain when you are carrying a heavy load and you need to place your feet quick to avoid a fall. The composite toe is key for winter when the steel toe will freeze your toes. Also I get tons of people asking me what kind of boots are they, they look sick. I tell them Haix made in Germany: forestry boots. They are worth the money. Before, while framing and climbing in trusses, often I would have to switch to sneakers... not any more. My only complaint is that I wish the rubber on the toe would come back another 3/8 of an inch. I often rest heavy objects on the composite toe and wish it was completely covered by the protective rubber so the leather doesn't get damaged as much. They are legit waterproof, I have never gotten wet feet in them. I would get extra laces and insoles right when you buy these instead of paying for shipping again. The lacing system is the best I've had too. I could go on for a while.

Good but not great
I work as an arborist and I wear these boots 6 days a week for at least 9 hours a day. After the break in period of 4-5 days these were the best boots I’ve ever worn but after 6 months they went downhill. The rubber cover has peeled off and from walking the leather has broke open where the crease by my toes, this is on both shoes. I know laces aren’t a warranty item but I’ve already replaced the laces after 2 months. I’m unsure if I over use them or if I got a bad batch. I take care of them but I wasn’t overly impressed. All the negative things I have said is unfortunate but 2 other people I work with have the same AirPower boots for 5 months and hopefully they hold up better than mine.

Top quality
I work as a state wildlife management technician and this boot has been phenomenal. I have never owned a set of Haix, and I was a little worried getting them broken in, but after 3-4 days they turned out to be even better than I hoped. Boot is form fitting, extremely comfortable and lighter than your standard work boot. I put these boots through all types of conditions and they have held up great for 9 months of heavy use now. Only roughage on the leather is from being thick in greenbriars. Highly considering their wildland fire boots ( Missoula 2.1) for my next fire boot upgrade, from what I've seen here.

I'm older and they're better
At nearly 73 I have become very safety conscious beyond just trying to be as cautious as possible. I researched safety boots for use in the woods and finally came up with Haix. I ordered the Airpower XR 200 and right out of the box they were the best fitting boots I've ever bought, bar none. They take my orthotic and paired with my wrap-around chainsaw chaps, I'm ready to take on any job that comes along. From brush saws to chain saws, these are great. I'm ordering the Scout for times that don't demand the safety aspect.

Wore them for a 10 hour cutting day right out of the box. Tremendous comfort, support, protection, and ventilation. Great build quality, very good laces and fairly light for a steel toed boot. Use primarily for ground cutting and clearing. Very pleased with my purchase.

I've had these boots for the last few weeks and use them on the farm. My dad has had the same pair for over a year, and I can confidently say that these boots are incredible quality, and very comfortable boots. I wear them daily and the wash easily and keep my feet comfortable and tie easily. Laces are also very high quality

NOT a "wide" boot
I wear a USA size 10 EEE, more of an extra wide than just a wide. However, I could barley squeeze into these as they were too narrow. I have a pair of the Hair Protector Ultra in a 10 wide and they fit pretty good, still a bit narrow for me, but wearable. The XR200 in wide feels more like a regular or D width.

Best Boots Every
I bought myself a pair of Missulas to work on the fire line during forest fires in our parks. I found them so comfortable and fast break in time. So when it came time for me to purchase boots for the other park employees to do chainsaw work, i found the Airpower R200 cut resistant boots. They all loved them. I have purchased over 100 pairs of chainsaw boots and the R200 is the only boot that is requested these days.

Best boots ever!
I will start by saying the XR 200 has the most support of any mid height boot I have ever worn. They are so good I am on my second pair. My first pair developed a crack in the leather at the sole to upper junction behind the composite toe at around 6 months of everyday wear. I continued wearing them with thinking sooner or later my feet will get wet and I will need to make a warranty claim. My feet did not start getting wet until the 3rd winter in the them when the crack had opened up. Spring of 2015 to January of 2018 RIP XR200-1. I purchased another pair identical and didn't look back. Best value for the money period.

If you ever need a great pair of boots look no further. I’ve been wearing these boots for two weeks and I had to write another review. Since the wind storm I have racked up 146 hrs in two weeks and I’m extremely happy I bought them.. These are my first pair of HAIX and def not my last. Comfortable working boots with great protection
I bought those boots 4 years ago in Germany and brought them with me to the US. They are very well made and high quality. For sure we are not talking about tennis here but for work boots with this high level of protection they are very comfortable. As I was traveling and did not have my Haix hiking boots with me I took those for a 7 mile hike in the woods of PA: very good and no complains. 100 % waterproof and perfect traction even on wet rocks. I would definitely buy them again.

Best boots ever!!
Ok, I’ll start by saying these boots are worth the money and then some.. I work as a high voltage eletrician (Substaions) and walk on uneven surfaces all day.. I received these boots on 3/1/18 the day before we got a wind storm in Virginia.. Storm fit on 3/2 and I was taken off my usual job to patrol lines in and out of right a ways, back country woods.. I place these boots on Friday and today is Tuesday and Haven’t taken them off (to sleep yes). Working 15 hour days and these boots are the best I have ever worn.. when going thru the “breaking period” I didn’t tighten them all the way, left them a little loose and I believe this helped during the first 20 hours of having them on.. I have worn different brands trying to find a boot that is comfy and also meets all my needs, water proof, safety toe and Eletrical hazard and doesn’t weigh 10 pounds.. These are the boots for me and really should be for anyone who wants awesome safety shoes.. I’m pretty mad that I didn’t think of HAIX at first..wore my first pair of HAIX when I was on Working for the firestation in Ma.. Thank you HAIX, Felix PS: buy the cleaning supplies because I wish I did..

XR200 BOOT
Received my pair of XR200 boots promptly. The size I normally wear in boots, 9 1/2 fit perfectly. The boots are fairly stiff. I wore them around the house for a couple of hours for three days to check the fit and that was enough to soften the fit enough to wear all day. They are comfortable, have good lateral support and hopefully will help protect against a chainsaw mishap. The one piece leather body is great as there are no stitch lines to wear through and the rubber? toe cap really protects the toe when stumping. A top quality boot.

Best bhoots I’ve ever owned
I have had lots of different safety boots for work and have hated the toe box pinching my feet. I also have Plantar Faciatis and for the first time in two years my feet don’t hurt at the end of a 14-16 hour day. These are by far the best and most comfortable boots I have ever owned. I find myself using them instead of my hiking boots. I have a pair of USAR boots and find the insoles very hard and will be looking for the softer insoles on your website. Great fit in a chainsaw protective boot
I bought a pair of XR200 boots a couple of years ago at a Forestry and Logging expo near me. I was looking for something more comfortable than the rubber chainsaw protective boots I had owned for years. I rarely wore the rubber boots because they were so uncomfortable if I had to do much walking. The XR200 boots solved that problem. They are as comfortable as the best pair of hiking boots I've ever owned, and a pleasure to wear in the woods when doing chainsaw work.

Great Boots
After becoming used to the quality of European made hiking and hunting boots I had to get a pair for myself to work in as well. I own Scarpa hiking/hunting boots and these are every bit as high quality. I needed safety rated boots for where I work and these boots seemed like a perfect fit. They're comfortable and feel mostly broken in after only a week, they don't slip on the wet coated concrete floors, and the gortex keeps my feet dry. Haix customer service was great in assisting me get the boots special ordered through a local vendor. This will not be my last pair of work boots from Haix.

Best work boots I've ever owned.
These work boots are great. I have problems with Plantar Faciatis and these are the first boots I have worn that my feet do not hurt at the end of the day....I have actually found myself wearing them while not at work because they are more comfortable than any of my other shoes. They are very durable. I work in the heavy equipment/mining industry and usually go through multiple pairs of boots in a year. these have lasted 2 years and finally have the leather seperating from the soles. I am ordering another pair of these amazing boots today.

The Best
I've been wearing these for the last 9 months and I am very impressed. These boots are very durable and supportive, but what really stands out for me is the arch support system. I have wide and flat feet which are always killing me by lunchtime when wearing any other boots. I've tried arch support insoles with other boots, but nothing helped. These Haix boots keep me going all day with no pain at all, thats a first for me! My only complaint would be that these insoles are very firm. I've read that some people have softer insoles from Haix, but I can only find the standard gray insoles on their website. Overall, these are the best boots I've ever worn. I just ordered a pair of the Airpower P7's and I hope they are as good.

An amazing product
I have been looking for years for a boot like this. This is a steel toed hiking boot with a weight and build quality similar to offerings from companies like zamberlan or scarpa. the boot is light, comfortable and supportive and legal for me to wear on the worksite. They feel nothing like the traditional steel toed boots I've been enduring for years and often ditching as soon as the safety people had left in favor of a more comfortable pair suitable for walking around in the bush. Only time will tell how long they will last or how well Haix will support them if there is a problem but I can say that the build quality and design are excellent.
