These are decent boots to have as backups to my heavy duty haix boots. I got 10.5 wides which were good to length but the width still felt a bit tight. Normally wides fit great for my feet but I think if they were available in extra wides for this particular boot then that's what I would get. I also have to hold the back of them to get them to slip on easily unlike my other boots I could just step into. But overall I'm happy with the purchase and maybe after a break in period they will feel a bit better in the width.

The boots are amazing! Within the first couple of days had to do a 3.5 mile trek....no hurting feet, felt great after the walk. I don't know why they are factory seconds, makes me want to know what the boots that aren't seconds are like? As someone else said the tongue lace holder needs a little more Velcro to stick more effectively. I found one of the straps for the zipper might be a little shorter than it supposed to be but it doesn't make a difference. Amazing boots, thank you!

After a decade in law enforcement I’ve gone through many types of boots, always looking for the better brand. I am currently a Ranger and will be on foot patrol every shift for about 5-7 mi per day over all sorts of insane terrain from river beds to steep crumbly paths. These boots had absolutely no break in time and are hands down the most comfortable boots I have ever worn for as much foot patrol as what I do. They’re lightweight and do not have the normal pinch points I find it most boots. I’m not getting blisters from these boots and they feel perfectly wrapped around my foot, ankle, and lower calf. Even though it’s a little detail I really do enjoy the little lace pocket that keeps the laces out of the way. I will definitely be buying these boots again!

Have been using the Airpower for some time. A great boot but not a boot that is easily broken in. Purchased these and on day 1 they felt as good as any military boot I have every worn. Break in is immediate! Would recommend as a great summer boot. Looking to get the Gore-Tex model for winter.

I have only worn these for about two weeks. I can say the days I have worn them they are comfortable to the point I feel like I am wearing athletic shoes. One drawback is the piece that covers the laces at the top is a little aggravating at times, as I feel there is not quite enough Velcro to hold it firmly in place. I am anxious to see how well these last.
