A Guide to the Safety Certifications of HAIX Boots

Finding the Best EMS, Firefighter, and Police Boots

You should not have to wade through mountains of marketing claims to find comfortable work boots with the safety and coverage you need. HAIX® makes it easy to find footwear with the proper protection by certifying our shoes and boots to the highest American, Canadian, and European safety standards. Whether you are looking for EMS boots, firefighter boots, or safety boots, this system of certification makes it simple to make sure you are getting the protection you need.

As Director of Sales Administration Sandy Longarzo puts it, "Certifications provide a recognized and standardized way to ensure that the products coming to market are the safest they can be for the individual wearing them."

HAIX: The Experts in Boot Testing and Certifications

We at HAIX are uniquely positioned to guide you through boot safety certifications because we have some of the most advanced footwear factories and test labs in the world. Additionally, we handle 100% of the manufacturing process—from idea to the final lace-up—in-house. This allows us to ensure that only the best quality products leave our factories.

"The main goal at HAIX is to create a boot that not only meets the standard but far outperforms it," Longarzo said. "So, each boot is not only tested in house first, it is also put through extensive tests out in the field before it ever goes for third party certification."

How To Use This Safety Boot Guide

You may have arrived at this page because your department told you to get NFPA certified boots for fire or EMS runs. It is a great way to make sure you buy gear that gives you the required protection for your job.
